<p>Merging Facebook pages allows you to combine the &#8220;likes&#8221; (fans) and &#8220;checkins&#8221; from the page with the fewer likes.  So, if you have an old page you made or a places page that somebody else made, then this is a quick and easy way to get more &#8220;likes&#8221; and, at the same time, get rid of that duplicate page.</p>

<p>Check to see if your website has this one, simple line of code that will drastically improve its search rankings on Google, bing, Yahoo, etc.  Also, make sure it&#8217;s written well (keywords, inviting, plain language).  If you lack the meta description tag, or it&#8217;s poorly written, fix it&#8230;now!</p>
<p>Also, if you&#8217;re looking to hire a new web designer, be sure to ask to see their previous work.  If there are no meta description tags, don&#8217;t hire them.  This is especially true if they claim to be &#8220;SEO experts&#8221;, because, if they&#8217;re missing these tags, they don&#8217;t understand basic SEO.</p>
